BlackHawk Down – October 4, 1993
4 10 2006Be sure to make a note of who was calling for the immediate withdrawl from Somalia and compare that with the Fox News interview with Bill Clinton on September 24, 2006.
"All of President Bush’s neo-cons thought I was too obsessed with bin
Laden. They had no meetings on bin Laden for nine months after I left
office. All the right-wingers who now say I didn’t do enough said I did
too much — same people. They were all trying to get me to withdraw from Somalia
in 1993 the next day after we were involved in "Black Hawk down," and I
refused to do it and stayed six months and had an orderly transfer to
the United Nations."

Lost – Lockdown
30 03 2006Fun with screen captures from Lost – discuss in the comments if you’re a Lost junkie like me…
John Locke’s Ford F-150 with his business Logo on the side: "Welcome Home Professional Inspecting John Locke, Owner 714-555-0116". I ran the phone number through a vanity phone number check that I found on the web and got nothing. But the old Lost numbers had some interesting results…
I spotted two Oceanic Airlines aircraft in this episode…
Awwww… Kate’s got a crush on Jack.
It appears that someone is dropping food from the heavens. This is a box of Dharma Initiative Macaroni & Cheese Supper – DI9FFTR731. Could the failure to enter the code have triggered an air drop???
Ok, here’s one of the "Lockdown – Locke down" big moments… What is this? I say that it’s a map of the island. The question mark is the electromagnetic core, and the spokes are all of the "hatches". The image in the 7 o’clock position is pointing as if it is saying: "You are here". There is a Swan in the hatch that it is pointing at. The 10 o’clock hatch appears to be the Medical/theatre locker room hatch. I see a half moon at 8 o’clock and a dove/pigeon at 2 o’clock. There is surely a lot more to this then I’ve found…
Here is a shot of the wall painting or mural inside the swan hatch. There seems to be some letters… it kind of looks like the word "SlOW" but the "W" is actually part of the sun. There are at least four fish in the picture. There is a house, which is not unlike the house in John Locke’s "Welcome Home" logo. I found an "eye", what else do you see?
Here’s the other big Lost "Lockdown" moment, we get to see Henry Gales’ Minnesota Driver’s License. This is clearly not the same man in the hatch claiming to be Henry Gale. This is well known by now, but Henry Gale was also Dorothy’s uncle in the Wizard of Oz (which also had a balloon). The address 815 Walnut Ridge Rd, Wayzata, MN 55391 is not showing up on any real life maps, but the city, state and zip are real.
If you run the zip code 55391 in Google Earth, you’ll find a lake with a lot of interesting names like: Big Island, Spirit Island, Bug Island (has anyone ever seen a bug on Lost? hmm…) Gale Island, but here are the two things that caught my eye: Echo Bay and Locke Point.

So, in the zip code 55391, we find a reference to John Locke, Mr. Eko, Henry Gale, a big island, and a spirit island. Say, does that picture on the license look like Eko? What else?
Wow! It’s a good thing that I only watch one show on T.V…
