The Terminator and Master Chief are becoming more and more reality than fiction.
This may have forever corrupted the mental picture I have in my head when reading Daniel 10:5-6.
It also gives a whole new meaning to the Proverbs 31 woman…

I started a new job last month and blogging went on the back burner. I’m curious if anyone is still out there reading this thing. So here’s your assignment to hopefully spark some fun comments:
1. Grab your iPod, .mp3 player, your stack of 45’s or whatever you use to listen to music.
2. In the comments post the following:
a. Favorite Song in your player
b. Most embarrassing song in your player
c. Hit the shuffle feature and then skip two songs – What song played?
(careful not to scratch your 45’s when your shuffling…)
Fair or not, American’s are perceived throughout the world as being uneducated, especially in the area of culture. I’ve heard recently that this is a popular belief in Romania as well. So in the interest of raising cultural awareness, your assignment is to watch this video and then investigate the links below…
This video describes a world without Romania, in which we might be missing:
-The fountain pen invented by Petrache Poenaru
-Cybernetics, first imagined by Ştefan Odobleja
-Insulin, first discovered by Nicolae Paulescu
-Jet airplanes and supersonic flight By Henri Coandă
-The first "Perfect 10" in gymnastics and inspiration to millions of girls, Nadia Comaneci
-Dracula a.k.a. Vlad Tepeş
-The Encylcopeida of Religion by Mircea Eliade
-The Merry Cemetery, pictured here
-Baseball? Before there was baseball, there was a 14th century game called Oina
-Beautiful girls, wonderful food and drink… stop by for dinner sometime, I’ve got some evidence!

The Wrightspeed X1 is the second fastest production car in the world, and it is an electric car. Silicon Valley may be the next place for innovative cars to be developed as the old car makers may be too slow to break the old mold of car making. I’m no environmentalist wacko, but there has got to be a better means of transportation than petro power!
Heath has an interesting discussion going on about choices, cars and gas prices. It seems this is a popular topic these days as my story on why we shouldn’t be angry with oil companies, which I published in October 2005, is still getting several hits a day!
Since we us an iPod for our pre/post service music at church anyway…
Maybe our audio team should get one of these…
