My Sister’s Story

My sister and brother-n-law have been featured in a story in Y-Life magazine.  They’ve got a pretty incredible story of how they’ve lost over 175 lbs between the two of them.  There’s a lot more to their story than what’s in the article but this will give you the highlights:

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

 

I took my family out to see the Royals beat the Toronto Blue Jays tonight.  It was an awesome night.  The weather was perfect, the game was exciting, and we ran into several good friends.  It was just a wonderful night out with my family.

 

The Royals Stadium (Kauffman Stadium) is still a beautiful stadium.  We love the fountains and the whole layout.  Game highlights included:

-Watching the Royals’ only All-Star player, Mark Redman, pitch for 8+ innings
-Watching Mark Teahen hit a home run
-Seeing the fireworks after the home run
-Cotton Candy
-Ice Cream
-My wife almost catching a foul ball

The only negative was that a big ugly dude shoved my wife and grabbed the foul ball out from between her legs, upsetting her and one of my daughters.  I missed the whole thing, as I was out taking these pics with my other daughter…
